Introduction to Voore
The Voore Resort Center is in Jõgevamaa, in the center of the picturesque Vooremaa. From us, it’s 40 km to Tartu, 30 to Jõgeva, 13 to Palamuse and 18 kilometers to the Lake Peipus.
It all started from the realization that the Leedimäe school house that had stayed empty for 10 years would not survive the next ten years. Time and random passers-by had left behind only the proud stone walls, sturdy metal roof and a historic ceiling. Everything else was just a memory…
In 1999, the newly renovated Voore Guest House opened its doors. The school house was called the main building, later we also built a lodging building with 14 comfortable rooms, a Finnish sauna, grill court and an outside pool.
Life was brought back to this place.
In the summer of 2003, we started expanding. We built a smoke sauna, open air hall, beach volleyball court, 4 comfortable family houses and covered the courts and roads with stone parquet. Today we also have conference building for 200 people that can host both educating and strictly entertaining events.
We welcome everyone here – the tourist groups and single visitors, those on summer vacation and winter holidays, not to mention the hunters and fishermen.
